Luke Rivera is a dedicated and driven individual currently shaping his future in the world of business and employee benefits.

Luke graduated from Urbana High School in 2023, where he was an active member of the National Honor Society. This experience instilled in him a strong sense of leadership and academic excellence. In addition to NHS, he also played for the school’s Varsity Baseball team. He is currently pursuing his studies at Frederick Community College, with plans to transfer to the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business to further his education in business and finance.

Luke’s professional journey began with a role as an intern filling in for an Accounts Payable Clerk at Wormald Home Construction. This experience gave him early exposure to financial processes and the importance of detail-oriented work in a fast-paced environment.

Currently, Luke serves as a Benefit Strategy Analyst at JMR Benefit Strategies, where he is gaining hands-on experience in the health insurance and employee benefits sector. In this role, he supports the development of strategic benefit solutions by analyzing cost trends, creating projections, and helping clients understand their options. His work has deepened his interest in the intersection of finance and healthcare, aligning perfectly with his long-term goals.

Luke is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the business world, particularly in the areas of financial strategy and health insurance. His academic and professional experiences have given him a strong foundation to succeed in this space.

Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Luke Rivera is an active youth leader and member of the worship team at the Church of the Redeemer, where he mentors and guides young members of the community. In his free time, he enjoys staying active by going to the gym and playing recreational sports, keeping both his body and mind in peak condition.
